This project that now has 4756 Estonian Hound pedigrees has been made to give a better picture of the Estonian Hound breed. By connecting these 4756 pedigrees together one giant pedigree is created with Estonian Hounds from around the world. When the Estonian Hound you have been looking for has been found, you are able to view its pedigree. This shows you the selected Estonian Hound, the parents, the grandparents and the great-grandparents. You can click on any of these Estonian Hounds to view their pedigree. This way you can "walk" through a Estonian Hound pedigree and go back many generations. Because so many pedigrees have been merged into one big one lots of interesting data can be shown. It is possible to calculate the coefficients of Kinship, Relationship and Inbreeding of any Estonian Hound very accuratly. To keep a little controle over the Estonian Hounds entered into the database only certain members of the website are allowed to enter information into the database. The acceptance of registrations is made by Webmaster (Maris Siilmann, maris[a]dobermann.ee). Your help to complete this database is more than appreciated. If you have info about the dogs entered to this database or dogs that are not entered yet - studbook numbers, birthdays, photos - please let me know.
